Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a part-time School-Age Childcare Program Director to lead a Vermont DCF-licensed after-school program in West Pawlet, VT. You will guide site teams, ensure program quality, and maintain safety for children and families.

The role emphasizes leadership and direct work with children, with employer-paid childcare during work hours and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Associate's degree or higher.
• Ability to meet Vermont DCF school-age program leadership requirements.
• Experience in education, youth development, camps, recreation, childcare, or school-age programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead after-school programming for school-age children.
• Coach Site staff in daily program operations.
• Maintain safe, inclusive, and structured environments.
• Support Vermont DCF licensing compliance and Healthy Kids policies.
• Build relationships with families and school partners; support enrollment and communication.
