Job summary

Apollo After School in Beachwood, Ohio is seeking Site Directors to lead our extended-day program at PK-8 schools. You will manage daily operations, supervise instructors, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment after the school day ends.

This seasonal role begins in the 2026-2027 calendar and offers starting compensation at $23 per hour, with growth based on experience. Applicants should have 2+ years working with youth and at least 1 year of management overseeing a team of five.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience working with school-age youth.
• Minimum 1-year management experience with at least 5 direct reports.
• Associate's Degree -or- Equivalent Experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day.
• Manage daily program operations and logistics, in coordination with Apollo leadership.
• Ensure the safety and security of children enrolled.
• Supervise all aspects of your site's before and after-school program.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, parents, school staff, and administration.
• Maintain accurate records, attendance, and dismissal data; gather and review program data for improvement.
