Job summary

The Diocese of Providence and Monsignor Clarke Catholic School in Wakefield, RI seek an Extended Day PreK 3&4 Program Coordinator. Hours are Monday–Friday, 2:30–5:30 PM, with pay of $20–22 per hour. This role focuses on safe supervision, homework help, and engaging after-school activities for K–2 students.

Qualifications

• Conflict resolution and organizational, collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with children in grades K-2.
• Associate degree or equivalent in education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create a Safe and Structured Environment that ensures supervision and attendance accuracy.
• Provide structured homework help and enrichment activities beyond the classroom.
• Foster social connections through supervised recreational activities and group engagement.
• Communicate with families and manage drop-off/pick-up procedures safely.
• Monitor snack needs and assist with ordering sheets for supplies.
