Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire
• Annual training: at least 15 clock hours per year
• Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures
• Must be able to work with school age children

Responsibilities

• Provides active supervision of students in the school-based child care program
• Maintains safe conditions for students and staff
• Participates in structured and unstructured activities with students
• Follows and enforces program policies and procedures
• Demonstrates effective communication with parents, students, and school staff
• Assists with maintenance, storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies
• Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality
