Job summary

RCM Health Care Services seeks Student Support Aides for an after-school program in the Menlo Park area. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2pm to 6pm, in-person at the school location.

The role requires 1–2 years in youth development or equivalent, an associate degree or 48 college units (or ParaPro exam 460). Responsibilities include activities, documentation, behavior management, attendance tracking, registration support, health and safety, and collaboration with students, staff, and families.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a youth development organization or equivalent.
• Associates degree or 48 college units or ParaPro exam with passing score.
• Experience documenting schedules, lesson plans, curriculum, youth participation, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement after-school activities within core program areas (academic help, homework club, fitness/recreation, arts, enrichment).
• Document program schedules, lesson plans, curriculum, youth participation, and outcomes.
• Use positive behavior and classroom management techniques with children.
• Accurately track student attendance (sign-in/sign-out).
• Assist with after-school program registration, customer service, and community outreach.
• Maintain health and safety standards for students and staff.
• Assist with setup, takedown, and cleanup for activities.
• Communicate with students, staff, parents, school personnel, and community partners.
