Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking an After School Program Aide to support and supervise K–8 students in a structured after-school environment. You will follow a set schedule, prepare activities, and maintain a safe, welcoming space for learners.

The role requires positive interaction with students, parents and staff, 18+ years old, and the ability to manage behavior while promoting a supportive environment. Training and potential growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must interact positively with students, parents, teachers and administrators.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience with children is a value add.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and execute scheduled activities under the direction of the LKC Lead.
• Supervise students to ensure safety and promote positive behavior.
• Monitor students during outdoor activities and safe play.
• Oversee students during meal/snack breaks.
• Supervise quiet homework time and provide assistance as needed.
• Engage with students in a friendly and professional manner.
• Enforce program rules and address behavior concerns.
• Monitor and report incidents to the LKC Program Administrator.
• Stand and walk throughout the program duration.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of activity areas.
• Collaborate with staff for smooth operations.
