Renaissance Village LLC in New York, NY is seeking an After School Preschool Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers, supervise preschoolers, and create engaging activities in a warm, nurturing environment.

You will help with snack, transitions, and documentation of progress, collaborate with families, and uphold safety and cleanliness in the classroom.

Formación

• Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood age groups preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate after school activities for preschool-aged children
• Supervise and engage children in structured play, arts and crafts, and educational activities
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development in a nurturing environment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom setting
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up and drop-off
• Help manage daily routines including snack time, transitions, and rest periods
• Assist in monitoring and documenting children's progress and behavior
