Renaissance Village LLC is seeking an After School Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team in New York, NY. Qualifications

• Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood age groups preferred.
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for child development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain a safe and positive classroom environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to the well-being of children.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate after school activities for preschool-aged children
• Supervise and engage children in structured play, arts and crafts, and educational activities
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development in a nurturing environment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom setting
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians during pick-up and drop-off
• Help manage daily routines including snack time, transitions, and rest periods
• Assist in monitoring and documenting children's progress and behavior
