Grace Church School in New York City is seeking a part‑time Playgroup Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The role runs four to five afternoons per week, 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional coverage until 5:30 p.m.

The Playgroup Teacher is a part‑time position for the 2026–2027 school year, running from September 14, 2026, through June 14, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:0 p.m., with occasional coverage until 5:30 p.m. Candidates must be available to work four to five afternoons per week.
Playgroup Teachers provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing after‑school environment for students in JK–6. They supervise students during outdoor play, facilitate games and enrichment activities, support positive peer interactions, and help foster a welcoming community where children feel supported and included. Playgroup Teachers work closely with the Playgroup Supervisors and report to the Co‑Directors of the After School Program and the Interim Auxiliary Program Coordinator.
This is a part‑time, non‑exempt position with an hourly rate of $25.00. This position runs mid‑September through mid‑June.
