Job summary

Momentum Academy in St. Louis is seeking a Panther Club Teacher Assistant to support after-school instruction and scholar development. You will work with Site Coordinators, Lead Teachers, and families to promote academic success and positive character.

Responsibilities include assisting with curriculum, small-group instruction, assessments, field trips, and progress reporting. Bachelor’s degree required; Missouri teaching certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college required.
• Missouri Teaching Certification preferred (Elementary Education 1-6, B-3, or MS 5-9).
• 1-3 years of teaching experience (urban communities a plus).

Responsibilities

• Supports district-approved curriculum and lesson plans.
• Provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Translates plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Plans, establishes, and maintains behavior management for effective learning.
• Chaperones field trips and engages families in activities.
