Job summary

Home Work Staffing is seeking a long-term, part-time, live-out after-school nanny for two children aged 3 and 5 in Wyckoff, NJ. You’ll pick up from school, manage afternoon activities, homework, dinner, and bath time. A pool at home requires confident swimming and initiative.

Schedule is Mon–Fri, 3:00–7:00 PM with potential extra hours. Start between January 4 and March 1, 2027. Compensation is $25–$35/hour based on experience with guaranteed 20 hours/week and benefits like PTO, sick days, and

Qualifications

• Professional in-home nanny or daycare experience with toddlers/preschoolers.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Confident swimmer; comfortable swimming with children.
• Engaging, energetic, and loving; takes initiative and stays flexible.
• Long-term commitment of 2+ years preferred; CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
• Must provide 3–5 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Pick the children up from school between 3:00 and 3:30 PM.
• Drive to/from after-school activities; coordinate with coaches.
• Plan engaging activities, outings, and park trips.
• Help with homework and prepare dinner for the children.
• Oversee bath time and bedtime routine.
• Do the children’s laundry, tidy up, and supervise pool safety.
• Work extra hours if a parent travels without the children.
