Job summary

Home Work Staffing is seeking a warm, nurturing split-shift nanny for a long-term, live-out role in Wyckoff, NJ. The family has two children, ages 5.5 and 3.5, needing help with morning routines, school drop-off, and afternoon pickups, plus occasional evenings.

The position requires a confident swimmer due to a home pool, a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle, and willingness to cover evenings and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous professional nanny or childcare experience with preschool/early elementary children.

Responsibilities

• Get children up, dressed, fed, and ready for school in the morning.
• Take children to school and pick up from kindergarten and preschool.
• Drive children to after-school activities.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate play and enrichment activities.
• Prepare healthy snacks and meals.
• Manage evening routines (dinner, bath, bedtime).
• Supervise around the home swimming pool.
• Keep children's spaces tidy and do laundry as needed.
• Cover occasional evenings as needed.
• Maintain open communication with parents about the day.
