Jovie Nannies + Sitters is seeking qualified afternoon nannies to provide engaging childcare in families' homes across multiple areas. Position focuses on 2p-7p shifts for children ranging from 1 month to 8 years old.

Responsibilities include playing, reading, crafts, and ensuring safety with age-appropriate activities while communicating with parents and maintaining reliability. Training and supportive team offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of childcare experience including infant and toddler care.
• Reliable vehicle to travel to family homes.
• Minimum age 18 with a valid driver’s license.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR trained or willing to receive training.

Responsibilities

Compensation

• Hourly wage: $17-20 per hour

We have several families looking for an After School nanny (afternoon availability between 2p-7p) in multiple areas. We are looking for qualified and experienced nannies who are looking for afternoon hours (between 2p-7p). Ages are ranging from 1 month old up to 8 years old.

About You

• You genuinely enjoy children and are an engaging, creative, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and similar activities in families' homes
• You value communication with parents and coworkers
• You have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to commute to assignments
• You bring at least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience
• You can provide our team with 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, as well as 1 character reference
• You’re at least 18 years of age or older
• Reliability is important to you and families can depend on you

Here’s What You Can Expect

• You’ll care for children in their homes
• Your only household duties will be common sense clean-up of your activities and meals with the child, no other household duties
• Your care will be for children of the ages for which you have previous experience. We serve infants, toddlers, preschoolers and early elementary ages.
• Variety as you engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development
