Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a part-time Year-Round M.O.S.T Certified Teacher to create a safe, engaging after-school learning environment that supports students' academic achievement.

You will lead the daily academic component of the M.O.S.T. program, provide homework help, differentiate instruction, and design hands-on activities that extend learning beyond worksheets while ensuring program compliance and positive youth development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred.
• Florida Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Experience working with elementary-aged youth in educational or afterschool settings.
• Experience planning and facilitating engaging educational activities.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Successful completion of all required background screenings and state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate structured academic programming Mon-Thurs.
• Provide homework assistance and differentiated instruction.
• Develop engaging supplemental academic activities.
• Maintain attendance and required documentation.
• Collaborate with club leadership and academic staff.
• Participate in required training, meetings, and professional development.
