Save the Children is seeking two After School Literacy Tutor positions for Monarch Elementary and Buffalo Elementary in Union, South Carolina. These part-time roles will support a literacy block and small-group instruction for the 26-27 school year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in trainings related to literacy components.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining program materials.
• Assist in administering required assessments.
• Identify children who would benefit from small-group literacy support.
• Implement STC literacy program components with fidelity and use resources.
• Include one hour of planning weekly to analyze progress data and plan instruction; submit weekly lesson plans.
• Be mindful of diverse learners and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Submit attendance to the Program Coordinator as designated.
