Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team. You will mentor and guide fellow teachers, implement the KinderCare curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing classroom where children learn through play.

You will build strong connections with families and collaborate with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals. You will partner with parents to ensure high-quality care, work with licensing authorities, and engage community partners to

Qualifications

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and to work indoors or outdoors.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that aligns with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
