Job summary

Beeville Independent School District seeks an enthusiastic Teacher Assistant for the After School Program. The role focuses on guiding students through engaging activities and learning experiences in a structured setting after the regular school day.

The assistant will help implement lesson plans, support classroom management, and facilitate activities such as LEGO, Chess, Sports, Art, Culinary, Dance, and Coding to promote holistic growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work with a large group of children and manage behavior.
• Willing to work until 6:30 PM and have dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with learning activities and experiences in assigned subjects to support growth in intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development.
• Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function in society.
• Teach basic concepts through play (LEGO, Chess, Sports, Art, Culinary, Dance, Coding).
