Job summary

Ivy Kids LLC is seeking a School Age Lead Teacher to design engaging after-school activities and summer programs for children. You will oversee personal care, learning activities, and safe classroom environments while modeling Conscious Discipline. You’ll maintain records, supervise assistants, and keep families informed of program progress.

You will ensure adherence to Ivy Kids Standards, participate in staff trainings, and coordinate transport for field trips as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; must repeatedly lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with children and parents.
• Lead teacher must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements daily afterschool activities, summer camp curriculum activities, and lesson plans as per Ivy Kids Standards.
• Has knowledge of state standards and ability to follow Ivy Kids Critical Procedures.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Transport children to and from school and field trip venues.
