Valparaiso Family YMCA in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a part-time School Age Lead to support the School Age team by ensuring the health and safety of children and delivering age-appropriate educational programs.
You will engage with members and families, help create interactive activities, arrive on time in uniform, and collaborate with the School Age Assistants to foster a positive learning environment.

The School Age Lead supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This part-time position supports the School Age team by ensuring the health and safety of all children while assisting the School Age Assistants with overseeing the delivery of age-appropriate educational programs and positively engaging with members and families to enhance their experience and their children’s growth at our facility.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum age 18 required.
Previous child educational experience preferred.
Minimum starting rate of $13.50 an hour
