Community Works of Louisiana, Inc. seeks a dedicated After School Enrichment Instructor to join our New Orleans team.
You will engage PK-8 students with structured activities that blend arts, numeracy and literacy while managing a lively classroom after the regular school day. Applicants should be capable of delivering dynamic, age-appropriate instruction across sites such as ISOL WestBank Campus, Monday through Friday 3:30pm–5:30pm (Wed 2:30–5:30).
Community Works (CW) is dedicated to building a community of healthy and creative learners through programs that integrate arts, recreation, and educational support. CW offers schools and organizations comprehensive extended day program management. All CW after school, summer and in‑school residencies align academically with the school day and year.
Professionals in the community selected not only for their talent in their field, but their ability to engage students and exhibit classroom management skills. Everything CW does is rooted in the belief that extended learning opportunities are most impactful when they look and feel different than the regular school day. The ability to integrate numeracy and literacy into daily activities, communicate well with students as well as other staff members and reinforce what students have learned during the school day are necessary for success as a CW Enrichment Instructor.
Community Works has over 15 sites around New Orleans including: The West Bank, New Orleans East, Uptown, Midcity, Broadmoor and Kenner. Community Works will operate at the International School of Learning- WestBank Campus Monday-Friday 3:30pm-5:30pm, with the exception of Wednesday running 2:30-5:30pm. Instructors MUST be available M-F for consistency, No exceptions will be made.
