Qualifications

• Education: Active TSPC Teaching License and highly qualified per HDT grant and board policies.
• Experience: Prior work with children in educational settings preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills: Works well with others, reflective, confidential.
• Language Skills: Fluent English communication, written and oral.
• Reasoning Ability: Solve problems with limited standardization.
• Other Skills: Communicate with students, teachers, parents and community.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/First Aid and other required trainings can be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Attend paid training aligned with program schedule.
• Manage tutor check-in/check-out daily.
• Assist tutors with materials and space preparation.
• Support data collection and analyze progress to monitor growth.
• Provide direct communication with the HDT Director.
• Use curriculum and writing instruction models to guide sessions.
• Maintain high attendance and engagement in all tutoring sessions.
• Report student progress to teachers and families.
