Job summary

South Shore YMCA is seeking an After School Assistant Group Leader for Emilson Y in Hanover and Norwell. You will help implement curriculum, provide homework help, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for school-age children.

The role includes program planning to meet EEC/QRIS/CACFP standards, supervising staff and engaging families, with shifts part-time before/after school at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-age children and EEC regulations preferred.
• Must pass EEC background check and fingerprinting.
• Knowledge of EEC regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing programs meeting EEC/HEPA/QRIS/CACFP standards.
• Assist in supervising program participants per EEC/QRIS standards.
• Build family relationships and assist with inquiries.
• Help keep facilities and equipment safe, clean and well maintained.
• Assist in engaging volunteers.
• Support YMCA fundraising activities and community partnerships.
