Job summary

Partnership With Children (PWC) seeks motivated Group Leaders for Beacon Programs in New York City schools. The role is part-time, in-person, with after-school hours from Monday to Friday 2:30pm–6:00pm, totaling 15 hours weekly.

You will support Activity Specialists, supervise groups of students, and help maintain safe, engaging learning environments. Responsibilities include assisting with homework and activities, following safety protocols, reporting incidents, and participating in required

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience working with children or in after-school programs preferred.
Ability to supervise groups of children and assist in activities.
Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of all program participants.
Assist with homework completion.
Assist Activity Specialist in implementing lessons and activities.
Provide constant supervision to assigned groups of children.
Ensure that classroom and activity areas are cleaned and organized.
Motivate and maintain active involvement of program participants.
Notify supervisors of any behaviors or incidents impacting safety or quality of services.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Abide by safety protocols.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
