Sunnyside Community Services is seeking an After-School Group Leader for P.S. 150Q in Sunnyside, Queens. This part-time role supports K–5th grade participants, supervises activities, and helps implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons under the guidance of senior staff.
Responsibilities include attendance, homework tracking, creating lesson plans, leading clubs, and coordinating with program staff. The position runs weekdays after school with training and events scheduled as needed.
After-School Group Leader – P.S. 150Q (Part Time)
Reporting directly to the Program Director and Assistant Director, Group Leaders will lead and supervise participant groups and create and implement activities under the guidance of an Activity Specialist or Content Specialist.
This position is a part of our Youth and Family Services offered at Sunnyside Community Services, which includes a pre-kindergarten program, after-school programs for elementary and middle school students, high school job readiness, career readiness, and enrichment programming, and Adult and Immigrant Services.
$17 – $21 per hour (non-exempt)
Monday – Friday, 2 – 5:45 pm, up to 3 hours of mandatory weekly trainings; 13 preselected holidays (8 am – 6 pm)
