Job summary

AlphaBEST Education - Pilot Point, TX is seeking an after-school Group Leader for our engaging programs. This part-time role runs weekdays 2:30 pm–6:00 pm, pays $15.00 per hour, and guides students through World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker and Arts activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.
