Job summary

Kamaʻāina Kids is seeking an After School Leader for Waikoloa, Hawaii. This part-time role runs weekdays afternoons (approx. 1:30 PM–5:30 PM; 12:30 on Wednesdays for Early Release). Pay is $18–$21/hour with strong benefits for part-time staff.

Lead groups of elementary keiki, assist with homework, and ensure a safe, engaging environment. Challenger roles available for those under 18.

Qualifications

• Heart for kids and helping them succeed.
• Punctual, reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• 18+ with HS diploma or GED; some roles may be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups of keiki (ages 5–10) through games, arts & crafts, and outdoor play.
• Coach and support with homework and encourage positive behavior.
• Maintain safety using Active Supervision to keep a secure, organized environment.
• Collaborate with a team of leaders to run a smooth program.
