Job summary

Youth Enrichment League seeks a dedicated After School Enrichment Teacher to run engaging, age-appropriate lessons in Twin Cities area schools. This part-time role emphasizes a structured, inclusive classroom that supports academic, social, and recreational growth.

You will prepare materials, monitor attendance, track participation, and provide feedback to families and program leadership, coordinating with school staff and program coordinators to ensure a safe, positive after-school experience.

Qualifications

• Strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience working with youth in group settings.
• Clear and respectful Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school staff.
• Demonstrated classroom management abilities and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning.
• Prior experience in after-school programs, camps, or youth enrichment is preferred.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary coursework or degree in Education, Child Development, or related field is a plus.
• Reliability in following schedules, school policies, and safety procedures, including background checks is required.
• Ability to stand, move, and actively engage with students throughout program sessions.

Role Description

The After School Enrichment Teacher is a part-time role based in schools across the Twin Cities, MN. This position is responsible for leading enrichment classes for youth in an engaging, structured, and supportive environment.
