REAL Journey Academies is seeking an Enrichment Leader for The Journey School in Moreno Valley, CA. This part-time role supports students with homework and enrichment activities after school, fostering a safe and engaging learning environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in college or university with prior experience with students in learning settings, and strong math and reading skills. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, with a schedule of 2:30pm-6:00pm M-W and F, and 12:00PM-6:00PM Thu.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, positive, detail-oriented, team player, patient and willing to learn.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Communicate and relate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Foster a positive and welcoming environment for staff and students.
• Display excellent management and organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Provide support to students with their homework.
• Implement enrichment activities such as clubs and sports.
• Prepare instructional, display, and work materials.
• Prepare and supervise after school activities.
• Participate in professional development training, as necessary.
• Establish good relations with individual students and groups.
• Regular attendance, dependability and punctuality in conformance with the standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
• Demonstrate strong math skills.
• Communicate and relate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Exhibit flexibility and be team-oriented.
• Enforce safety and disciplinary procedures and rules.
• Display excellent management and organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Organize and File paperwork.
• Establish good relationship with staff, students, and parents.
• Other responsibilities, as assigned.
