Job summary

Santee School District is seeking an Expanded Learning Program Enrichment Leader for SYCAMORE CANYON SCHOOL in Santee, CA. The role supports PreK–8th grade students by providing safe, enriching activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and academic growth.

Responsibilities include supervising groups, delivering engaging activities, ensuring safety, communicating with families, and assisting with program quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent; prior youth work preferred.
• District Paraprofessional Proficiency Exam or equivalent certification required.
• YALE Preschool requirements include specific early childhood units and permits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student groups with safety and adherence to policies.
• Provide engaging enrichment activities aligned with the program plan.
• Maintain a safe, collaborative, and developmentally supportive environment.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding students' progress and needs.
• Monitor student transitions, arrivals, departures, and field trips.
• Support district action plans for program quality improvement.
• Prepare and serve nutritious snacks; provide basic first aid if needed.
