Job summary

Right At School in Grayslake, IL is hiring for the 2026-2027 school year as an Educator for after-school programs. This role supports children ages 5-13 with engaging activities and learning through disguised education while maintaining safety and a nurturing environment.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 1:45 pm to 6:00 pm, with pay between $15 and $18 per hour, based on education and experience. Join a mission-driven team delivering enrichment in local schools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of experience with children 5-13 in a group childcare setting preferred.
• Must meet state-specific requirements and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Review daily goals and updates in program meetings.
• Prepare and lead daily activities and curriculum aligned with objectives.
• Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum.
• Model positive guidance and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
