Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance seeks a Daycare Worker to foster youth development after school by guiding elementary students through enrichment activities in a faith-based setting in Tyler, TX. This part-time, non-exempt role runs 17–20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred.
Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children.
Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred.
Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year.
Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check.
Valid driver’s license or Valid ID.
Legally allowed to work in the United States.
Have dependable transportation.
Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued.
