Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC in San Leandro, CA is seeking part-time coaches to teach one hour per day for children aged 5–10, with sessions scheduled after school hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. All equipment is provided to support a fun, energetic learning environment.

Coaches will attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting, must have reliable transportation, and will take attendance and interact with parents and school staff during sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old upon application.
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.
