Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC in the Bay Area is seeking an energetic After School Dance Teacher to lead dance classes for Grades K-3 at partner elementary schools. This part-time role focuses on creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment after school hours.

Classes run weekdays, 1–1.5 hours, with 2–5 hours weekly; in-person program requiring reliable transportation and a professional attitude. Training is provided, and candidates must be local to the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old at application.
• Local to Bay Area or US with visa if required.
• Experience in pickleball or tennis is preferred but not required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Willingness to undergo a live scan background check and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Manage classes of 8–16 students aged 5–10.
• Teach different forms of dance to elementary school kids.
• Attend a maximum of two-day unpaid training/shadowing session.
• Take attendance and sign in/out students.
• Interact with parents and school office staff; provide end-of-session feedback.
• Capture a few pictures each session for documentation.
