LACOE Expanded is seeking a part-time After School Dance/Cheer Program Leader for the South LA region. Qualifications
Experience working with students in grades K-12 in recreational, educational, and/or community youth outreach settings.
Must be 18 years of age.
Criminal record clearance by being fingerprinted prior to working with youth.
Responsibilities
Lead and assist in planning & implementation of the daily after-school program.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with youth, legal guardians, and school staff.
Actively supervise students during program activities, ensuring a safe environment.
Skills
Experience working with students in grades K-12
Ability to communicate effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with quality criteria for after school programs
Fluency in a language other than English
Education
High school graduate or GED
Associates Degree or higher
Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education
