Job summary

LIFT Enrichment in Livermore, CA is hiring an After-School Cooking Instructor to lead hands-on workshops for K–8 students using our curriculum. You’ll manage groups of 15–20, teach healthy recipes, supervise setup and cleanup, and transport materials to schools.

The role is seasonal, part-time, with a 2:00–5:00 pm schedule. Training is provided; mileage reimbursement and a phone stipend are offered. Pay is $28/hour.

Qualifications

• No professional culinary experience required.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to commute to assigned schools.
• Experience working with children is helpful.

After-School Cooking Instructor / Chef Teacher

LIFT Enrichment is looking for enthusiastic Chef Teachers to lead fun, hands-on cooking workshops for students in Title I schools.

Since 2010, we’ve taught 75,000+ students and built a team of 200+ Chef Teachers. No professional chef experience required - we provide training!

The Details:

• Rate: $28/hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (2-3 days per week) ; 2:00- 5:00 pm
• Age Groups: Elementary School
• Location: Livermore, CA
• Position: Seasonal, part-time
• Paid training + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend
• Grocery shopping, prep, teaching, and cleanup are paid

A typical day includes teaching two workshops, you will be paid for approximately 5 hours of work which covers preparation, teaching, and cleanup.
