Job summary

Minot Public Schools seeks a Substitute Before/After School Aide and CLC Aide to support students in the Community Learning Center (CLC) at Minot, North Dakota. The role is part-time and involves assisting with homework, learning activities, and program participation.

Starting immediately, the position offers $15.48 per hour, with hours varying. A High School Diploma or GED and some experience with children are required; CPR/First Aid training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND some experience working with children.
• Knowledge of MPS policies and procedures; safety rules and regulations in public facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with homework and educational activities in before/after school programs.
• Helps students widen knowledge in science, math, and language skills.
• Monitors student behavior and aids supervisor with complex issues.
• Maintains confidentiality of district information and follows child abuse reporting rules.
• Communicates effectively with students, staff, and the public.
