Chess Wizards is seeking enthusiastic instructors for after-school chess classes in the Kennesaw, GA area. Join a program that brings engaging, structured chess lessons to elementary students in local schools.

Instructors lead 1–5 classes per week, typically 2:00 PM–5:00 PM, with $50–$70 per class and mileage reimbursement for travel over 15 miles one way. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive sessions
• Professional, positive, kid-friendly demeanor
• Strong grasp of chess fundamentals and ability to explain basic concepts
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to drive between locations
• Availability on weekday afternoons 2:00 PM–5:00 PM
• Punctuality and time management

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students using a structured curriculum
• Teach chess fundamentals and promote sportsmanship
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking
• Travel to various local school sites for each session
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage students
