Qualifications

• 60 college credits may be required by the assigned site.
• Experience in cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, coaching, athletics, or related movement instruction.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, classroom facilitation, and behavior-management skills.
• Availability to provide services for the assigned schedule and communicate schedule issues promptly.
• Ability to safely instruct age-appropriate physical activities with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate cheerleading sessions.
• Introduce fundamentals, teamwork, movement, coordination, leadership, and school spirit.
• Adapt instruction based on age, experience, and site requirements.
• Teach cheers, chants, motions, jumps, and introductory dance elements as assigned.
• Prepare students for demonstrations or performances where applicable.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate needs or concerns with Concorde Education and site staff.
• Complete a brief session completion form after each session.
