Job summary

Minimum Qualifications

Goal

Design and deliver a program with activities that are safe, fun and appropriate to students' age and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads and engages campers in scheduled activities and events.
• Assists in the management of the overall program operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of effective behavior management.
• Delivers program activities, as needed.
• Supervises and monitors students during the day-to-day operations of the program.
• Ensures that the program is running smoothly and in compliance with established procedures.
• Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Counsels students in conflict resolution.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with students, staff, and other key personnel to facilitate a smooth operation of the program.
• Ensures students follow safety procedures in all areas.
• Checks the area and equipment for safety, cleanliness and good repair on a daily basis.
• Works with the site-manager in planning, coordinating and supervising activities related to the program.
• Provides leadership and serves as a mentor to students.
• Interacts in a positive manner with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Ability to be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work.
