Job summary

St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School in Humble, Texas, seeks responsible, energetic and nurturing individuals to work as assistants in our after school program, Bridges. The role involves supervising children during play, helping with homework, preparing and serving snacks, and providing academic support for students from PK through 8th grade.

Work is part-time on school days, approximately 15–18 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Be mature, responsible, energetic and nurturing with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Commensurate experience in child care/education will be considered.
• Receive a criminal background check clearance.
• Be trained and verified in the child abuse awareness program.
• CPR trained is a Plus.
• Be committed to the philosophy of Catholic school and value oriented education.

Min./Max. Hours per week: 15 - 18
Job Hours: M-F approximately from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
