Job summary

St. Martha Catholic School in Kingwood, Texas, seeks responsible, energetic and nurturing individuals to work in our before and aftercare program. You will supervise children during play, rest and homework, and assist with daily activities to support student growth.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., during the school year August–May with some training days; the position is part-time hourly.

Qualifications

• Must be mature, responsible, energetic and nurturing.
• Experience in child care/education encouraged.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Support Catholic school philosophy and values.
• Special talents in PE, art, music, or education are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during play, rest and homework.
• Plan and implement daily activities.
• Prepare and serve snacks.
• Provide academic assistance to PK-8 students.
