Job summary

Canyon Independent School District is hiring a Future CKIDS After-School Campus Leader to direct daily operations of the campus-based after-school program at Canyon ISD facilities in Canyon, Texas. The role requires coordinating enrichment activities, ensuring safety, and engaging with families and staff to sustain high-quality programming.

The position is part-time and afternoons Monday through Thursday and Friday afternoons, with CPR/First Aid certification and strong organizational skills

Qualifications

• Two years of study at an institution of higher learning.
• Associates or higher degree preferred.
• Education, Nursing, Sports Exercise Science, Child Psychology and Social Work majors preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with school age children required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize and manage the daily operations of campus-based after-school expanded learning opportunities.
• Create and reinforce a safe and inviting environment with age-appropriate enrichment, arts, and recreation activities.
• Coordinate programs and activities with community partners.
• Communicate with parents about children and the program.
• Coordinate with campus administration and staff to meet needs and ensure proper use of materials and equipment.
• Lead and supervise staff with coaching and training.
