Job summary

Southwest YMCA in Greenfield, WI, is seeking a dynamic leader to direct Before and After School Enrichment and Wrap Care programs. You will supervise staff, develop curriculum, manage budgets, and coordinate with school partners to deliver high-quality youth programming.

The role requires strong communication, a proactive approach, and the ability to drive engagement across diverse groups within the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have 240 hours of experience in an approved education setting.
• Must have completed high school or equivalent.
• Must meet Child Care Licensing requirements including one of the following: an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (related field preferred); or otherwise qualified as a School-Age Director through The Wisconsin Registry.
• Minimum of 240 hours of related experience working with early childhood or school-aged children in an approved setting.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, develop, schedules, and directs staff and volunteers as needed.
• Develop Y BASE lesson plans and activities and monitor program outcomes.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations.
• Direct and supervise program activities to meet community needs and YMCA objectives.
