Role Overview

After School Assistant Site Director works with elementary school‑age children daily in a window of 2:30–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday at iKids University Austin.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Coordinator in daily managerial tasks.
• Fill in for Site Coordinator as needed.
• Serve as Lead Instructor implementing iKids lesson plans.
• Maintain classroom management and monitor child safety on playground and during snack breaks.
• Provide homework assistance and actively engage with students.
• Organize materials and a child‑friendly space.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers and parents.
• Support iKids mission of high‑quality enrichment, tutoring, and care.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience working with children in group settings (camps, coaching, teaching, tutoring, child care, etc.).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable, independent transportation for commute to Austin, TX.
• Availability five weekday afternoons, Monday–Friday 2:30–6:00 PM.
• Physical ability to lift 5–30 lbs and meet standard classroom and playground demands.
