Resurgence Hall is seeking a part-time After School and Recess Associate to supervise and enrich students in grades K-8 after the school day. You will lead safe, engaging recess, help run the aftercare program, and build positive relationships with scholars, families, and staff.
Hours are 12pm-5pm or 1pm-6pm, Monday through Friday with additional paid professional development time; compensation is $20 per hour.

Resurgence Hall hosts a daily aftercare program exclusively for Resurgence Hall scholars. The aftercare program consists of supervising scholars during outdoor recess time, leading enrichment activities during after care, and monitoring scholars during quiet reading time as they wait for their families to pick them up.
This job is physically demanding and may require standing and walking for extended periods of time and lifting heavy objects up to 40lbs.
At least 1 year prior experience teaching, coaching, or working with elementary or middle school aged children and experience teaching in a low-income community.
12pm - 5pm, or 1pm-6pm Monday - Friday with additional mandatory paid hours for professional development
This is a part-time position at $20 per hour
