Job summary

Veronica Arts Media is seeking an Activity Specialist to lead after-school, DYCD-funded programs focusing on arts, STEM, and leadership. You will design engaging, age-appropriate projects, supervise participants, and collaborate with site staff to ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Must have a high school diploma, 2+ years working with youth, and experience using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, and Google Meet.

Qualifications

• Available during after-school hours 2:00pm–6:00pm, 20 hours per week.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in the specialty area (arts, STEM, sports, etc.).
• 2+ years' experience working with children or youth in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead high-quality, project-based activities.
• Attend meetings, training workshops and events as required.
• Collaborate with staff to coordinate schedules and support youth needs.
• Ensure safety, attendance, and basic documentation; manage supplies.
