Job summary

Applitrack is seeking four part-time Academic Assistance Program Teachers to provide in-person support for grades 5-8 in English language arts and mathematics. Each teacher will conduct two 45-minute sessions weekly, with data collection time and ongoing progress monitoring built in.

Location is Maple Place School, with program dates October through May. Requirements include a NJ Teaching Certificate (Elementary, K-6, ELA, Math) and preferred experience with grades 5-8.

Qualifications

• NJ Teaching Certificate (Elementary, K-6, ELA, Mathematics) required.
• Experience with teaching grades 5-8 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish learning goals by analyzing data to determine areas of weakness.
• Provide targeted, small group instruction to address skill gaps identified through student assessment data.
• Collect, track, and monitor student progress using designated data systems or progress monitoring tools.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, instructional focus, and progress toward goals.
• Communicate with parents regarding progress, attendance, etc.
• Work collaboratively with other program teachers as needed.
• Report to building principal regarding student progress as requested.
