Job summary

Tolleson Elementary District Office is seeking a 21st Century Coordinator to oversee after-school program activities, coach teachers, and ensure grant objectives are met. The role begins in September with district-wide oversight of curriculum, instruction and assessment under the 21st Century grant.

The position emphasizes leadership, data-driven improvement, and collaboration with school personnel and community partners to support student growth and family engagement in the Tolleson area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, reading and math, special education, school psychology or related field; three+ years of teaching experience.
• Experience helping children develop literacy, math and other academic skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication abilities to coach and support teachers.

Responsibilities

• Plan for the 21st Century Program from hire through the year.
• Program will start in September.
• Supervise instructional staff and manage budget and reports.
• Coordinate with district staff, community partners and stakeholders to meet grant objectives.
• Monitor attendance, data collection and student progress.
• Collaborate with principals and coordinators to design and adjust program offerings.
