Job summary

Tolleson Elementary School District is seeking a 21st Century Coordinator to lead after-school programming and oversee grant implementation. The role emphasizes collaboration with campus staff, community partners, and district leadership to meet academic goals.

The position is part-time and involves supervising instructors, coordinating curriculum, and tracking student progress to ensure program effectiveness and alignment with grant objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, reading and math, special education, school psychology or a closely related field with three+ years of teaching experience.
• Experience helping children develop literacy, math and other academic skills.
• Understanding of evidence-based interventions and instructional strategies for elementary students.
• Ability to lead, organize and communicate with teachers and grade-level teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan for the 21st Century Program starting at hire and continuing through the year.
• Coordinate program activities to start in September.
• Supervise instructional staff and manage program data and reports.
• Collaborate with district staff and community partners to meet grant objectives.
• Maintain regular communication with campus administration and CST Coordinator.
• Assist in PLC/Student Growth meetings and support interventions/enrichment.
