Job summary

Apple Tree Learning Centers in Stowe, VT is hiring a part-time After School 1:1 Student Aide to support a student with developmental delays and help them overcome obstacles while enjoying meaningful learning.

You’ll work three days a week one-on-one and two days after school with the education team, using flexible, compassionate approaches to tailor activities; background check required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children.
• Experience working with children with developmental delays.
• Empathetic, creative, and results-focused personality.
• Adaptable problem-solving skills for engaging with students.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging one-on-one learning sessions three days per week.
• Work two days per week as an after-school teacher with the educational team.
• Maintain a positive, flexible approach to help students grasp material.
